SnowBound: Edmonton Snow Gear Lending Library

SnowBound is a proposed community initiative that would offer basic and inclusive snow gear (such as snowshoes, sit skis, and Nordic poles and sledges) available to residents of all ages and abilities for free. By designing a weatherproof storage and checkout hub for central public spaces, SnowBound would remove barriers to winter activity, encourage outdoor movement, and promote social connection across the community.

This project aims to transform Edmonton’s winter into a season of wellness, offering safe and accessible ways for everyone to get active and enjoy the outdoors!

We will find out if our grant application is successful by December 31, 2025.
